Polly Baldwin - Forward thinking feast

LUNCH // In 2014, Polly Baldwin was bitten by a spider. Over the course of the following year, she gradually lost everything – her health, her business and her happiness. Doctors thought there was no hope of recovery and she would have to learn to live with chronic pain and fatigue. Through a series of small coincidences and connections, she found herself on the path to rehabilitation by fixing her gut microbiology and her mindset. It took four years of slow recovery but she now leads a fully active and happy life managing her pain solely with the food she grows and eats. By reconnecting with her gut, her food, herself, nature and community, she saved her own life. Polly now shares her story and experience to empower others to reconnect with their gut and the food they eat through her Jolly Allotment community, Coeliac-friendly fireside suppers and gutsy gatherings.
