Max Jones - Preserving Food Heritage and Traditional Knowledge for our future
TALK & WORKSHOP // From guiding the transhumance journeys of the Italian Alps to safeguarding the methods of rare cheese production, Max’s mission is to preserve heritage foods, food stories and traditional processes and practices that tie us to what we eat and the living world around us.
In his talk and workshop, Max will take us on a journey to meet traditional food producers and understand the ancient methods, passed down through the generations, they use, which are in grave danger of being dying out. It only takes two generations for traditional knowledge to be lost, but we can participate in safeguarding food heritage, together.
