Robin & Eva - From soil to supper
TALK // Robin and Eva are your guides through the Dutch food landscape, starting right where change begins: on your plate. They believe that good food can change the world, and that taste, justice and health can go hand in hand. From their home base in Flevoland, a province reclaimed from the sea and unlike anywhere else, they bring people together around food. Through programs, events, and encounters, they ask one central question: What does a delicious, fair and healthy food system look like?
Their initiative, Flevour, is rooted in the vast open fields of the polder. Together with chefs, bakers, brewers, farmers and food lovers, they spotlight the rich flavours grown on the seabed of the former Zuiderzee. By connecting eaters to producers, they show how food can be a tool for change.
At Campfire Stories, Robin & Eva help select the local producers we work with and tell the stories behind our shared meals. Each time you gather around the table, they’ll introduce you to the farmers, the land, and the choices behind every bite. They will also run a workshop around our food system.
Because flavour matters. And the future of food is something we all share.
