WhEN & Where?

Friday, September 4th from 10:00 hrs – Sunday, September 6th until 16:00 hrs.

Roggebotstaete, The Netherlands

Campfire Stories will take place at Roggebotstaete, a unique and beautiful nature estate of 52 acres. Roggebotstaete is a living laboratory for sustainable food production. There is a food forest, vegetable and herb garden, fields of grains, a lake, beehives, livestock and lots of flowers and birds. Please read more about it on our About page.

Ticket Information

All workshops, talks and activities as well as your meals and drinks are included in your ticket price. All you have to do is turn up – we will take care of the rest.

Super early bird: €225

Early bird: €275

General release: €310

Getting There

Public Transport: 

Take the train to Kampen or Dronten and take bus 143 to “Roggebotsluis”. From here, it is a 2-kilometer walk along the water until you see the signs “Roggebotstaete” on your left.

car:

Roggebotstaete is easiest to reach by car. Please use the event page on Facebook to find and share a ride to the event.

There will be free parking available onsite.

What to Expect

Friday:

Pitch your tent, workshops, lunch, workshops & talks, tour of Roggebotstaete, opening, dinner, & campfire drinks & movie.

Saturday:

Morning activities, breakfast, stories, lunch, stories, workshops, dinner & campfire drinks.

Sunday:

Morning activities, breakfast, workshops, lunch, a story before you go, and then a final farewell… until next year.

You are free to create your own program. There will be plenty of opportunities to relax, go for a walk, take a swim or just stare at the fire.

There will be some tunes in the evenings and we serve beers, wines and drinks at our bar. It's a chance to relax and get inspired while surrounded by nature and good people!

Camping

For every ticket there will be enough space to set-up a 2 person tent, please inform us if you want to bring your camper, caravan or a large tent. info@campfirestories.nl

There will be clean basic outdoor toilets and wash basins available for you. No worries, we take care of toiletpaper. 

Car parking is available a short walk away from the festival & campsite, cars are not allowed on the site!

Power sockets will not be available… a perfect opportunity for a Digital Detox :-). If you need your equipment or phone for emergencies, we recommend bringing a battery pack.

Drinking water will be available at all times.

There are no facilities for wheelchairs. Please contact us for more information about the possibilities.

There is no wifi.

Food & Drink

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks are included in your ticketprice. 

Food is a very important element of Campfire Stories. Our Outdoor chef works with only local organic ingredients, produced by passionate farmers. It will be harvest season at Roggebotstaete so more than enough to work with.

We will cook mainly vegetarian. If you have any other diet requirements please let us now on info@campfirestories.nl


What to bring

  • A tent (there will be limited spaces available for caravans and campers, please check availability by sending us an email)

  • Roll mat / airbed / matress

  • Sleeping Bag & pillow

  • A torch

  • Waterproof clothing / jacket

  • Comfy shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit muddy

  • Rain boots

  • Warm clothes

  • A drinking bottle for your water

  • A mug for coffee or tea

  • Swimming gear if you want to go for a swim (or even if you don’t want to yet….just bring something, just in case)

  • Yoga mat for our morning sessions

  • Bring your instrument and Jam!

What not to bring

  • Big trolleys. You will have to walk a short distance to get to the camp site, so bring a bag that is easy to carry

  • Kids, minimum age is 21 years old

  • Ghetto blasters

  • Generator

  • Dogs are allowed but need to stay on the leash
